Christmas Dinner & Gift Exchange
IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO BRING FOOD FOR THE FAMILY ADOPTION!!!! We have had very little participation this year. We will have to go buy the remaining food needed to provide the families with a Christmas dinner and some extras to help while the kiddos are out for break. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can you believe it’s time for Christmas already? It seems like only yesterday we were taking down the decorations. Anyhow, last year’s Christmas dinner and gift exchange was such a hit, we have decided to do it again this year. The party will be on Sunday December 11th, we will begin eating at 1pm. As last year, we will be providing the meat, which is still being finalized. We are asking that each family bring at least one side dish. We will have a sign up for food at the check-in desk to be sure that we don’t end up with duplicates, and can cover all the bases of a full dinner. Suggestions would be potatoes of some sort, vegetables…. It seems as though most people pull for desserts and salads because they are the easiest. It won’t be much of a DINNER if we don’t have the sides to go with the meat.
We will be doing a gift exchange as well again. However, we ask that you bring some kind of NEW gift valuing $10-20 if at all possible. We will handle the exchange the same as last year, seemed as though people enjoyed it once they figured out the whole stealing idea.
We hope you plan to attend PLEASE let us know ASAP if you are planning to attend so we can have a tentative count for the meat. However, you will not be turned away if you let us know after that date.
